The cottage (once a carpentry workshop dating from the early 1700’s) is detached and re-designed to a high specification in 2011. On two levels with dedicated off-street parking. Private patio and terraced garden. Wi-Fi, Double glazing and gas central heating ensures a cosy stay.

Please note that the property is non-smoking and pet free. Flexible short, longer and bed and breakfast breaks are available all year. A high chair, travel cot, fire guard and stair gate are available.

Sunny lounge with comfortable sofa seating for six & an electric recliner armchair. Peat burning stove.  SMART Internet TV & Bluray DVD. Double sofa bed provides occasional sleeping for one or two. French doors to patio & garden which is bounded by treeline and Lomond hills.

This is the cottage taken sometime after 1800. We don’t think it would have changed much from the previous century. The cart is either being built or fixed and the rough cut wood may have come from a water powered mill that was 100 metes further up the West Port.
